- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 4 oz mozzarella cheese, sliced
Anleitungen
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge chicken cutlets in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
- Cook chicken for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown.
- Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add bell peppers and onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in marinara sauce and bring to a simmer.
- Place chicken cutlets on top of the sauce in the skillet.
- Top each cutlet with mozzarella cheese slices.
- Bake in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve immediately.
