A hearty beef goulash with potatoes, perfect for a comforting meal.

- 2 lbs Beef Chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 large Onions, chopped
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
- 2 tbsp Sweet Paprika
- 1 tbsp Caraway Seeds
- 1 tsp Marjoram
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper (optional)
- 6 cups Beef Broth
- 2 lbs Potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 Red Bell Pepper, chopped
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh Parsley for garnish
Anleitungen
- Season beef with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Brown beef in batches and set aside.
- Add onions to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
- Stir in tomato paste, paprika, caraway seeds, marjoram, and cayenne pepper (if using). Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Return beef to the pot. Pour in beef broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 2 hours, or until beef is tender.
- Add potatoes and bell pepper to the pot. Continue to simmer, covered, for 30 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
